BIMAdvent is pleased to announce new BIM content for Cashman CAT. You can download the Revit 2011 BIM Models HERE. These gensets are highly customized equipment, so be sure to consult Cashman or your local CAT rep for proper selection data.
These models are consisted of 3 main parts:

The Generator Engine
- Exhaust duct connectors are present for interior applications
- Conduit Face connectors are present on the bottom of the unit for conduit stub-ups
- All pertinent engineering data parameters

A Exterior Acoustical Enclosure
- Enclosure thickness can be adjusted per required NC rating
- Sound Attenuated Muffler
- Exhaust Up-Scoop

A Generator Based Fuel Tank
- Customizable based on required genset runtime. Fill in your runtime hours and the tank will calculate the required depth (also takes into account double wall tanks)

The genset family can be used in an indoor application by hiding the acoustical enclosure and the sound attenuated muffler. Need to locate it outdoors, just check the visibility options to turn on the acoustical enclosure. Fuel tank is present and the size is driven by the runtime you input. Don't need a fuel tank, just turn it off. The genset offset value will update not leaving your genset floating in the air!
As with all BIMAdvent content a schedule is provided so you don't have to waste your time creating one! We realize that our schedules will not match your companies standards, but its always easier to edit a schedule then make it from scratch.
